Technology, Office Staff, and Use

For years the IT industry has predicted technology will replace people and the office work they do just like machines did in the industrial space in the last revolution.

So far, Covid has hastened that thinking and for standard office work IT is the enabler. Imagine doing office work without technology?

Following that theme, at the 2019 Corenet Cretech forum I raised the concept that with tech as the enabler it is possible that companies could do the office work they do with 5% less staff. Technology will enable the rest.

A voice from the crowd asked – only 5%?
